2 What Data We Collect
2.1. We collect minimal personal and technical data to provide our core social and driver voice communication services:
- Account Information: Your full name, username, email address, and profile photo when you register or sign in via Google.
- Vehicle Profile: Car model and year (optional, displayed on your community profile).
- Location Data (GPS): Precise foreground GPS coordinates while using the app to place you in nearby voice channels and display your vehicle position on the community map.
- Microphone & Audio: Real-time voice audio streams during live voice calls. Voice streams are transmitted live and are NOT saved or recorded on our servers during standard usage.
- Camera & Photo Gallery: Access to your device camera and photo library strictly when you choose to take or upload a profile picture.
- Push Notification Tokens: Device FCM tokens used to deliver push notifications for voice requests and channel invites.
- Device & Telemetry Data: Operating system version, device hardware identifier, and movement speed (to automatically trigger safety lock mechanisms above 80 km/h).
3 Third-Party SDKs & Services
3.1. We integrate trusted third-party SDKs to facilitate authentication, communication, and mapping:
- Google Sign-In: Facilitates secure OAuth registration and sign-in.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivers push notifications and incoming call alerts.
- Agora RTC SDK: Powers real-time low-latency voice communication channels.
- Mapbox / OpenStreetMap: Renders geographical maps and route directions.
4 Location, Microphone & Camera Usage
4.1. Location tracking is active while the app is in foreground use to enable live map features and voice zone discovery. GPS history is not sold or compiled into permanent movement profiles.
4.2. Microphone permissions are strictly utilized during active voice calls. Audio channels are transient. In the event of a reported user safety violation, a temporary encrypted audio snippet (up to 30 seconds) may be generated solely for moderation review and purged within 30 days.
4.3. Camera and Photo Library permissions are requested only when you choose to take a photo or select an image for your user profile avatar. Images are stored securely and used solely for profile identification within the community.
5 Children's Privacy
5.1. Aranea is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will immediately take steps to remove such data and terminate the associated account.
6 Data Retention & Account Deletion
6.1. You have full control over your data. You can delete your account directly inside the app via Settings → Profile → Delete Account.
6.2. Alternatively, users may request account and data deletion online by emailing us at info@vincitstudios.online with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". All account details, location logs, and user profile data will be permanently wiped within 30 days.
7 Data Security
7.1. We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) to protect data transmitted between your device and our servers. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
8 Changes & Contact
8.1. We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notices.
